I've just found your blog via google+. I used to rent out Nuri and Gulsum apartments in the 1980s and 90s so know exactly where the Balcony is. I look forward to reading more.

ReplyDeleteI was first introduced to Hera, the Özaşkin family and the village in 98 and have been back most years since then.
We are working on a page for the “Lelegian” Wall. I came across a paper presented by Prof Şahin where he proposes a much earlier date for the wall which, if proven, pre dates Mausolus’ Myndos.
