A Snip at £6,000,000.00

For anyone who has six million pounds burning a hole in their pocket, 81 acres of ancient Bargylia is up for sale.

You can’t blame the farmer, but the sentence “Experts also warn some owners might want to seek to downgrade the status of the first-degree archaeological site, in a bid to open it for construction.” is worrying

  1. The farmer has been trying to sell or exchange the land for as long as I can remember. I am wondering why the press have suddenly picked this up

    1. Let’s hope it isn’t because there is a developer interested in the site.

How easy is it to get a first-degree protection order lifted or amended?
